Every fall, WCS welcomes the Merritt College Aesthetic Pruning Club to the garden for a day of tree care, teaching/learning and a hearty hot lunch.
Now in its sixth year, this talented group of certified arborists are responsible for the beautiful shape and health of shrubs like ceanothus and boxwood to trees big and small, like our Japanese Maple and fruit trees. This event is open to the public. Stay tuned for next year’s date.
