Welcome to White Crane Springs!

Come Garden with Us

White Crane Springs Community Garden has been providing beauty and pleasure to the Sunset District since 1972.

Our garden of approximately 80 individual plots and areas of community space is maintained by garden members in the true sense of “natural” gardening - the best organic practices, IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and sustainability projects including composting, sheet mulching and a Cob shed complete with a green living roof.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a garden member, please go to the non-member info page.

White Crane Springs is open to the public during our monthly workdays. Workdays are alternating first Saturdays and first Sundays of the month, from 10 a.m.–noon, followed by a community potluck and gathering from noon–1 p.m. We list our workdays on the Events page.

Next work day - change in schedule!

Sunday - June 2 from 10am-1pm

The May 4 work day is cancelled due to weather. We will see you all on June 2 for our rescheduled annual meeting and workday. Schedule: 10AM-11:30AM is the workday. 11:30AM-12PM is potluck lunch, and then 12PM-1PM is the annual meeting. If you're not able to commit to a full morning, please prioritize coming to the meeting portion.
